Job Description :The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for defining and executing the company's technology strategy, leading a team to integrate various design software platforms, and ensuring scalable and efficient technological operations. The CTO will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, optimizing workflows, and maintaining the competitive edge of the business through cutting-edge tech solutions.Key Responsibilities : - Technology Strategy & Vision : Develop and implement a robust technology roadmap that aligns with the business's goals of scalable growth and innovation in the design and build industry.- Software Integration : Lead the integration of multiple design software tools and platforms (e.g., 3D rendering engines, AR/VR tools) to enhance design capabilities and improve project outcomes.- System Architecture : Oversee the architecture and development of scalable tech infrastructure that supports seamless design, client interaction, and project management processes.- Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.- Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, including design, project management, and marketing, to understand their needs and implement solutions that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.- Product Development : Spearhead the development of proprietary tools or enhancements to existing design software to improve the client and team experience.- Technology Partnerships : Identify and manage partnerships with software vendors, ensuring integration compatibility and enhanced service offerings.- Data Security & Compliance : Ensure that the company's technological processes adhere to industry standards for data privacy and security, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations.- Scalability & Performance : Implement best practices in software development and deployment to ensure the platform can handle increasing user demand and deliver high performance.Qualifications : Education : - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience : - Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably in the design, architecture, or construction industries.Technical Expertise :- Deep knowledge of 3D design software (e.g., Autodesk, SketchUp, Rhino).- Experience with integrating design platforms using APIs or middleware solutions.- Strong understanding of AR/VR technologies and cloud-based rendering.- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C++.Leadership Skills : - Proven track record of leading diverse teams and managing large-scale projects. Strategic Thinking : - Ability to align technology strategies with business goals and scale solutions effectively. Innovation & Problem Solving :- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment. Communication : - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Preferred Attributes : - Experience with SaaS and cloud-based design solutions.- Background in leveraging machine learning or AI for design enhancement.- Previous experience in a startup or growth-phase company, showing adaptability and hands-on problem-solving skills.
